Artificial Intelligence Will Never Replace Humans With These Set Of Unique Skills
You can stand out of the crowd!
Artificial Intelligence is blowing our minds and stealing our hearts.
Making art, writing books and novels, creating videos, even helping with marketing and replacing whole teams at big organisations [remember Google, Facebook, and the big guys laying off workers because they discovered AI—my theory].
We can't help it.
We can't stop it.
It's natural for technology to always disrupt what humans have seen as usual for years.
However, there's a limit to what technology can do.
Even if we reach the age of Quantum Computing or Artificial General Intelligence, we will always need human beings.
And in today's world of work, where there's panic and many are worried about AI replacing them, there are still corners and spaces where AI will never be able to rule or replace human gumption.
AI may indeed displace some workers. This includes individuals unwilling to learn how to use AI to improve their work and those reluctant to develop their leadership skills.
I have done some research and discovered that there are specific, unique skills that workers of the future must have.
Workers of the future are those who have discovered the importance of AI and are working to adapt.
And it will surprise you that 100% of these skills are not even technical skills but HUMAN SKILLS; some call them soft skills...

Management and leadership capabilities
AI is a tool. It doesn't matter how complex or "autonomous" it becomes; it still needs the input of regular people to function correctly.
So the workers of tomorrow who want to remain relevant must understand that they must start learning how to use AI today to remain relevant tomorrow.
You can't kick against the prick.
You will go extinct. Instead of fighting the wave of technological development, why not key in and ride on it?
Artificial intelligence may be able to mimic certain human functions and capabilities to an extent. Yet, it can never entirely replace the input of human beings, especially in the highly emotional and organic aspects of management and leadership.
Management and leadership require plenty of interactions and communication amongst and within people.
It's more dependent on Emotional and Social Quotient than on Intelligence Quotient.
And no matter how AI becomes advance, it can never get to the level where it replaces the managerial and leadership abilities of human beings.
So, in other words, people who want to remain relevant tomorrow must learn how to improve their managerial and leadership skills.
They must learn to manage people, interact with them, build relationships and create connections.
People who neglect these aspects of their personal development will have nothing in their arsenal to stand against the oncoming onslaught of the army of AI!
Adaptability
Adaptable employees are more valuable, happier, and better equipped to face problems head-on
Ashley Stahl
The future of work will be built on adaptability.
Workers who embrace adaptability are the ones who will be of more value to organisations.
They can quickly learn new things and do things outside their jurisdictions if needed.
This is where AI may not be able to do too well.
Despite the remarkable advancements in the field of artificial intelligence, it is important to remember that these technologies are still limited to the tasks they were initially designed for. Training AI algorithms to perform new tasks or adapt to new roles can be a complex and time-consuming process that requires extensive re-learning. While AI is undoubtedly a powerful tool, it is vital to recognise its limitations and approach its implementation thoughtfully and strategically.
Analytical Thinking And Problem-Solving
Humans will interact with the environment, detect problems, and design AI systems that will help put solutions together limb after limb, gear after gear, and bolt after bolt...
This is a human thing. AI will never solve any problem if not told how to do so.
What makes us humans unique is our consciousness.
AI doesn't know what goes on around it.
It's not sentient. It can't interact with its environment. It can't build relationships with people.
We are the ones who know how to interact with the environment and build relationships with people.
That's an everlasting advantage AI will never have. And people who know how to harness this advantage will be in the front of work.
They will be the ones to lead the way into the future.
AI is better than you and I in the field of analytics.
It has been doing this for years now. Ask Gary Kasparov, who lost to an AI in a chess game more than 20 years ago, even before AI was ever a big deal.
It doesn't matter how high your IQ is. You can't even beat the average 10-digit calculator.
So, AI wins.
But analytics is just a tiny part.
What about reasoning, communication, and forming relationships?
Indeed, no one can code these characteristics into an algorithm!
So, we win! Yippee!
Creative & Innovative Thinking
AI will never win in the game of creativity and innovation.
It's more than just picking stuff from all over the internet and putting it together.
Creativity is deeper than that.
And this is where humans win again.
AI can enhance creativity and make innovation easier and faster.
However, it's left for the human mind to approach a problem or challenge from different perspectives, experiment, brainstorm, communicate, juxtapose, and observe.
AI can't do all that.
Artificial Intelligence Will Get Extremely Good…
…And it will almost look as if it will replace human beings.
But it can't.
It may be faster and can handle more enormous data and workloads; however, it can never have the inherent characteristics of human beings like emotions, intuition, morals and all the other elements that make us human.
It is undeniable that AI technology is advancing at an astonishing rate.
The consistent unveiling of innovative AI tools, toys, and algorithms is enough to leave anyone in a state of wonder while also sparking curiosity about the limitless potential of AI in the future.
We haven't even started seeing what AI is capable of.
Give 10 years to AI research, and you'd be awestruck by what AI will do everywhere.
We may not even know the difference between the output of AI and human beings.
Understandably, some people may feel uneasy about the idea of AI becoming more integrated into our society.
However, experts suggest that with time, people may accept AI in much the same way we did with personal computers and smartphones. These technologies were initially met with resistance but eventually became integral to our daily lives. It's possible that AI could follow a similar path.
It will... just become part of us.
